HEALING HOUSE ENERGY SPA REIKI POLICY STATEMENT

Background and Training

Coriene Ploetz and Jesse Mendoza have been practicing Reiki since November 2019 and have attained Master/Teacher level in 2020. They are both current registered Professional Members of the International Association of Reiki Professionals.

Who can Benefit

Reiki can assist in relaxation, general wellness and in relief of chronic issues as well as emotional support. In our practice, we have witnessed pain relief to headaches, chronic diseases and old injuries as well as positive emotional changes in clients. Each client experience varies.

Client/Practitioner Expectations

Enjoy your tea while you fill out a brief intake form and review our policies. Your session begins with the practitioner quickly going over the intake form with you. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have at this time. Please keep in mind that privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Healing House Energy Spa subscribes to the IARP Code of Ethics as posted in our treatment rooms. A Reiki session is performed on a spa chair and you, the client, are always fully clothed.

A Reiki session may start with the client getting comfortable in the chair. The practitioner will use the standard hand positions and focus on any areas discussed in the intake or that the practitioner is drawn to work on. The client will have the option of hands on or hands off treatment. The client may request any part to be worked on or not worked on. If the client feels discomfort at any time, please let the practitioner know and the session will be adjusted accordingly.

The practitioner will normally talk with the client before and after the session but keeps silent during the treatment to encourage the most relaxation. The client is still encouraged to speak up if anything becomes uncomfortable at any time.

-         Practitioners reserve the right to refrain from working on anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

-         Sexual harassment is not permitted. Sessions will end immediately if the practitioner’s safety feels compromised.

Appointment Policies

-         Each scheduled session is 60 minutes long including the quick intake and any insights the practitioner may share at the end.
