Monique is a certified Hellenistic and Horary astrologer who reads the chart as a living map—one that reveals a person’s purpose, timing, and the deeper patterns shaping their life. A lifelong student of the stars, she has been enamored with astrology since high school and formalized her practice through Nightlight Astrology’s school and podcast, earning certifications in both Hellenistic and Horary traditions. Whether she’s unpacking a natal chart or answering a pointed question through horary, she uses astrology to guide clients toward their higher purpose while honoring the lives they’ve actually lived.

What sets Monique’s readings apart is the intuitive dimension she brings to the chart. She is also an evidential medium who perceives through all of the clairs—clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, and more—and a Reiki Master and energy healer. These gifts allow her to sense what lives between the lines of a chart, offering clarity that is both technically grounded and deeply felt.

Alongside her astrological and intuitive work, Monique holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Art. With a professional background as a clinical social worker, she brings compassion, grounded integrity, and a real understanding of the human experience into every session.

Her work is further enriched by her Puerto Rican heritage and Southern California roots, which bring both warmth and soul to her practice.

When she’s not interpreting the stars or connecting with the spirit world, Monique can often be found painting, at a Dodgers game, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, or obsessing over her fantasy football team. She currently resides in the Los Angeles area and is a proud single mom to two children on the autism spectrum.
